Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, also commonly known as Aloe Vera, has been used for centuries for its health, beauty, medicinal, and skincare benefits. Aloe Vera is perhaps one of the most widely used herbal remedies for topical skin conditions. This is because the gel-like components of the plant are known to heal the skin from a variety of minor ailments. You can also find beta carotene in the Aloe Vera plant, which is a precursor to vitamin A. The concentration of Vitamin C and Beta Carotene in Aloe Vera is not significant enough to significantly improve the skin but may help to improve the overall appearance slightly.

3. WITCH HAZEL EXTRACT

The witch hazel plant, Latin name Hammamelis virginiana, is a flowering shrub that grows wild throughout a good portion of North America and Asia. The leaves, bark, and twigs are processed to create a clear liquid that’s sold commercially as witch hazel. The plant extract itself is also used in topical ointments, although the toner-like liquid form is far more common for skincare and home remedies.

Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) flower extract is an extract from the flowers of the Anthemis Nobilis plant, otherwise known as the Roman Chamomile. There are two main varieties of Chamomile, the Roman chamomile (Anthemis Nobilis) and the German Chamomile (Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria)).
